美麗卻帶點叛逆外表的Ellie Goulding，1986年12月30日生，自從2009年出了第一張專輯《Light》(光芒)後，便在英國樂壇嶄露頭角！

根據維基百科資料「她是「2010 BBC 年度之聲」最高票選得主，並得到2011年全英音樂獎評委的一致青睞，從此後便累積大量人氣，名氣與之俱增。2009年簽約保利多唱片，同年發行自己第一彈延伸劇目《An Introduction to Ellie Goulding》，接下來在2010年發行了第一張完整的錄音室專輯《光》（Lights）以及改版專輯，重新更名為「Bright Lights」。」

14歲就學會彈吉他的她，對音樂的追求一直沒有停過，2009年她的首支單曲"Under the sheets"問世之後，也因為在BBC熱播而讓她的歌聲正式被聽見！同年11月19日在英國開始提供數位下載，擠入英國單曲榜第五十三位。之後她的歌唱與創作生涯就此展開。

♥早期
2009年9月3日艾莉簽約寶麗多唱片,她的首張單曲"Under the Sheets"由獨立廠牌霓虹燈金唱片而不是 寶麗多發行，這樣以便能讓她不會有太大的壓力。 2009年9月30日單曲在BBC電台首播，自此開始被頻繁點播，2009年11月19日在英國開始提供數位下載，擠入英國單曲榜第五十三位。 2009年10月為支持Little Boots她開始了自己的巡演，2009年10月30日她在Later... with Jools Holland節目中表演了"Under the Sheets" 和"Guns and Horses"兩首歌曲。 "Wish I'd Stayed"是英國iTunes商店2009年12月22日至28日的「週最佳歌曲」。

♥2009-2010:《光芒》
艾麗在2009年11月29日發行《光芒》（Lights），發行後即攻下英國專輯榜冠軍，其中單曲《Starry Eyed》以英國單曲榜第4名的成績拿下英國BPI黃金認證。

♥2010-2011:《萬丈光芒》
艾莉改版專輯（Bright Lights），包含六首全新的歌曲。 首發單曲《Your Song》問鼎英國單曲榜第2名，拿下英國BPI白金認證。 其中的第二波單曲《Lights》為艾莉開啟英國以外的市場，在單曲發行後1年，《Lights》初次空降告示牌 Hot 100第85名，隨後逐漸攀升，最終取得美國第2名、銷售420萬張的記錄，取得美國唱片工業協會(RIAA)四白金(4× Platinum)認證。[1]《Lights》在告示牌 Hot 100榜單週數長達57週，刷新以往新生代歌手的新記錄，也拿下告示牌 Hot 100年終榜單第5名，成為英國歌手在美國獲得光大商業成功的範例。[2]

♥2012-2013今：《翠鳥預言》
艾莉第二張專輯《翠鳥寓言》（Halcyon）在2012年10月5日發表。 其中首發單曲《Anything Could Happen》攻下英國單曲榜第5名的佳績，也以美國49名的成績取得美國唱片工業協會(RIAA)黃金認證。

♥2013-至今：《翠鳥時光》
艾莉第二張專輯《翠鳥寓言》（Halcyon）改版專輯《翠鳥時光》（Halcyon Days）在2013發表。

再來進入2010-2011年改版專輯中收錄的"Your Song"，下方是演唱會版本，就跟剛剛聽過的"Under the sheets"是同一場演唱會喔～

副歌之後全場歌迷開始跟著她一起唱著，而這首歌的原唱是Elton John，在1970年推出，讓Ellie的低沉嗓音詮釋又是別有一番風格！
